Carib Wedding: an idea inspired by our wedding in the Caribbean

Our Story

The idea behind Carib Wedding was born from a unique moment in our lives: the moment we decided to get married. A wedding that wouldn’t take place just anywhere, but in one of the places that makes our hearts beat faster: the Caribbean.

We are a couple from two different cultures. He, born in Martinique, grew up surrounded by the beauty of the islands and the warm atmosphere that characterizes them. Even when he left for his studies, he knew it was just a temporary chapter before returning to live in the region that shaped him. She, on the other hand, grew up in Auvergne, surrounded by mountains and nature. A passionate traveler, she discovered the Caribbean through her journeys. Between the beauty of the landscapes and the man who introduced her to this culture, it was clear: it was here, in the heart of these islands, that we wanted to build our future together.

Today, we split our lives between Saint Martin and Martinique. This mix of origins and discoveries has shaped our project—to make organizing a wedding in the Caribbean more accessible, smoother, and above all, more authentic.

Why marry in the Caribbean?

For us, the answer was obvious: the Caribbean is a place where natural beauty, a festive atmosphere, and warmth come together. We chose to marry here because of everything this region represents: diversity, friendliness, and the magic that emanates from each island.

We also wanted to share this universe with our loved ones (yes, almost half of our family will cross the Atlantic to join us).

For the other half of the family, who live here, it's an opportunity to remember just how beautiful the places we live in are. We’re often captivated by the distant islands we see on social media, but all it takes is a glance around to realize that our own islands are just as extraordinary.

That said, planning a wedding can quickly turn into a headache. Between finding the right vendors, handling the unexpected, and navigating the specifics of each island, the organization can become a real challenge. That’s when our idea emerged: to simplify the lives of future brides and grooms by providing advice, information, and reliable contacts.
